The Pursuit of Wisdom, Knowledge, Spiritual Power, and the Minds of God Through Multiplism
Nonfiction / Spiritual / Self-Help
If art imitates life, this book imitates the artist’s mind. Specifically an artist that has surrendered most of their natural born life to the arts. As the decades change so does the style of the art and their philosophy of how they approach their medium. This book follows the artist’s transformation and expression of that art in correlation to the influences, both external and internal, over a lifetime of study. The influence is sometimes physical and direct, other times more seemingly abstract and metaphysical. And it continually revisits the question, how in control are we, or is there something bigger at work? Are we bound to repeat history or do we always have the power to change our path? The author provides anecdotes that seem to answer the text's questions directly, and at other times stir the ambiguity. At the same time, the format of the book as an anthology allows for it to rest on any coffee table and be cracked open at any page to enjoy a slice of the larger thought-pie.
Introduce
yourself and tell me about what it is that you do.
A: I was born in 1943 during World War II and continued to
spend more of my early life in a war torn South Korea from 1950-1953. These
conditions deprived me of an education so I decided to travel the world and
aspire in the arts. I have painted approximately 50,000 paintings in my
lifetime. From abstract paintings to portraits of sitting presidents. This has
exclusively been my professional career for over 50 years.
Tell me more about your journey as an author, including
the writing process?
A: As an artist I always carried a notebook to capture the
ever fleeting idea or concept, which alternatively became an outlet for my
thoughts and experiences. It carried hundreds of stories and anecdotes
throughout the years, nevertheless in an all too broken English. Ultimately,
with the hiring of a ghost writer, I would eventually piece together the
chapters for my first book.
Over the years I continued to add more content to what was
already published. I felt I needed to expand on the concepts and ideology. I
realized that I should share the stories with my children and grandchildren, and future generations.
This motivation drove me to add 1,000 more pages to the story.
Tell me about your Book (that you want to talk about) /
Story (that you want to highlight)

“Shortly after the events of September 11, 2001, I decided
to retire from commercial art work and concentrate solely on my religious
studies and original signature series, Multiplism. The 10-year extended lease on
life I feel I was gifted through meditation and fasting re-calibrated my
perception of the human condition and potential. I asked God during my troubled
time at 58 to return me to 45. He gave me back 13 years of health in exchange
for that many years of financial gain and investments.
I started to consider a shift from medicinal healing to
healing through faith. I believe the sick can be cured, the poor can be
wealthy, the weak can become strong, misery can find happiness, and death can
be delayed. I believe the scales can always be tipped in your favor with
concentrated willpower and prayer.
We moved our lives, downgraded our material circumstances
drastically and quickly, and hoped for the best. It was at our new home that I
would build an extension to the house, a place that became my creative bunker,
my sanctuary. I considered this my haven for meditation and study. This would
be the birthplace of my first book, God & I: Multiplism.
Everyone should allot some time each year to regeneration,
regardless of the occurrence of failure. This allotment of time should be meant
for reassessing goals and your relationship with God so you can emerge the
following year with enough energy and strength to excel on that scale of
success in which life is measured. Some of us fail, run out of energy, and wear
out from the tribulations of life. But those who fail are essentially failing
to step back and assess the larger picture. If we all take this time to
revitalize ourselves, our lives will come back to us with greater use.”
Any message for our readers
A: Approach with an open mind and an appetite for
self-exploration
