She relents, but only for the opportunity to find answers about her parents’ deaths.

As their journey progresses, Eva delves into her previously hidden magic—and grows steadily closer to Bash. But when she meets her prince, she soon learns that all is not what it seems. While mystery and intrigue surround her, Eva takes it into her own hands to uncover the truth. But what she discovers is beyond her imagination, as she unravels the fae’s web of lies.

Interview

What is the hardest part of writing your books?

Probably actually writing it. Sitting down and putting words on digital paper always seems to be the hardest part!

What are your most played songs?

If I listen to anything with words, I end up accidently writing those words down so I mostly do instrumental. I love anything by Hans Zimmer, the How To Train Your Dragon soundtrack, The Leftovers soundtrack, and the Bridgerton instrumental renditions of modern music!

Do you have critique partners or beta readers?

Yes, and I couldn’t do this without them! My romance and romantasy book group was what got me into the fantasy romance genre in the first place, and my twin sister and one of my friends from that group were instrumental in making this book happen.

What book are you reading now?

I just started Follow Me to the Yew Tree by Desirée M. Niccoli and it’s lovely!

How did you start your writing career?

I'm always writing since I work in PR, but I didn't really focus on writing creatively until I was laid off as part of the tech layoffs over a year ago. It was one of the best things that could have happened to me. I went from a voracious romantasy and romance reader to finally having the time to write The Other Side of the Mirror. While I wrote the first line for it years ago, I never took the time to give it a real go until that turning point.

Tell us about your next release.

The Other Side of the Mirror is a fae romantasy with building romantic tension and twisted betrayal, fated mates and found family, second world fantasy with actual working plumbing, and a growled “who did this to you?”.

It begins when, seven years after her family’s murders, Eva’s attacked by a magical creature and brought to the faerie realm. When Bash, the handsome fae that helped save her, reveals that he must bring Eva to her faerie soulmate to stop a world-ending curse, she relents at the opportunity to get answers about who her parents really were.

Eva delves into her previously hidden magic…and grows steadily grows closer to Bash. But when she meets her prince, she soon finds out that all is not what it seems. And when Eva takes it into her own hands to discover what exactly is going on, she realizes that everything was a lie all along.
