What is the hardest part of writing your books?
It is the day before I write the story when I say that I have no story to tell. It is a good thing that I woke up the following day.
What are your most played songs?
My illustrator, Andy Case, released an amazing album called “Leap of Faith”. He has an amazing voice to match his brilliant illustrative skills, and I can’t stop playing his music.
Do you have critique partners or beta readers?
I do not even know who they are!
What book are you reading now?
My good friend, Lucia Matuonto, is writing a book called “Homegrown Heroes”. She is having me read it before it goes out, and I get to throw some ideas at her.
How did you start your writing career?
In 1995, I was asked to speak at an Accountant’s Liability seminar, and was told to write two chapters for the textbook. I gulped, and Dan Goldwasser, the person who invited me, said that if I ever wanted to be an expert about anything, I should just write about it.
Tell us about your next release.
The follow up to “The Zoodles Strike Back” will be “Escape from Zoodletraz”. This will definitely be one to faster your seatbelts on your Prickly Peppered Purple Propulsion Powered Pickle enhanced Snoodles!! It will take you on quite a ride with some amazing new characters!
