Miguel, ex-Marine turned fitness trainer, is done pretending that he doesn’t have strong feelings for Leah. From the moment he laid eyes on her, he knew she was the one, and now this trip provides the perfect opportunity to take their relationship to the next level.

Will shocking lies, deceits, and half-truths dampen the fiery sparks of passion that ignite when Leah and Miguel are forced to share a cozy honeymoon cottage, or will they overcome their fears and build a brighter future based on honesty and love?

INTERVIEW

What is the hardest part of writing your books?

The most challenging aspect of writing my books is committing to a consistent writing routine. Once I have conceptualized a clear idea of what I want the story to be about, the sequence of events come together smoothly. But allowing myself to take the time to sit down and put in the time it takes to craft a novel requires the most discipline, because there are always competing demands on my time.

What are your most played songs?

If you are asking if I listen to songs while I write the answer would be know. For me, the lyrics would be a distraction from the words in my head. The only sound that I can write to is the sound of rain or thunder. It creates an atmosphere that’s conducive to writing for me. Otherwise, silence works.

Do you have critique partners or beta readers?

I have used both in the past and have greatly valued their feedback. They have noticed details that I have sometimes overlooked. However, everyone, both writers and readers, are so busy that it can be a challenge to get their input when I need it for my writing deadlines and schedule.

What book are you reading now?

I’m always reading a print book and listening to an audiobook. I am listening to Daniel’s Bride, a historical romance novel by Linda Lael Miller. I am reading the paperback, All That I Need, by Francis Ray.

How did you start your writing career?

Honestly, I began telling stories when I was about 8 years old and began writing them about that time too. I was entertaining a niece who was only 4 years younger than me.

Tell us about your next release.
