What is the hardest part of writing
your books?
Getting through the first draft. I want to constantly edit while I write but it slows me down so I have to force myself to push past typos and get the story down. It drives me nuts.

readers?
I don’t have critique partners or beta
readers. When I am constructing a story I don’t like a lot of differing opinions
because it hinders me form writing and authentic story.
What book are you reading now?
A dystopian fiction story called
Paradormancy by David Joseph Lavallee
How did you start your writing career?
I started my career after I graduated
college. I knew that writing was missing in my life so I started back at it
after a friend had given me a journal for my birthday. The rest is history.
I’m up in the air about what I want to
release next. I definitely and adding more installments to the Sugar Lane
series but I am also working on a gangster romance series entitled Lover 1509 so we’ll see which one gets
finished first.

When she’s not immersed in her writing, she enjoys reading both fiction and non-fiction, watching classic movies, and listening to jazz with her dad.
