Friendships are formed and secrets revealed. One man will become her lover, while the other becomes her best friend. Together, they have a past they cannot change, a present they must live through, and a future yet to be discovered. However, every time things appear to settle down for the trio, fate deals another blow, testing their trust and faith in each other and the love they have created.
Gabriella discovers the beauty of Scotland and life anew as she learns that trust is a two-way street that can either strengthen bonds or destroy relationships. Will she accept all that she learns or continue to believe she is betraying the memories she ran from?
Interview
1) What is the hardest thing about
writing your books?
The hardest thing about writing my books is separating my
writing time and my home life. I become completely obsessed with writing about
my characters that I loose hours on hours being with them. My sleep becomes
interrupted often because my character seep
into my dreams. I don’t watch TV, and when I relax I like to read. I
read about three books a week. I’ve learned to set boundaries and now only
write at my office but the characters tend to follow me around. Many times I
think I could be writing instead of reading.
2) What songs are most played on your iPod?
Music is very important to me but not genres. I like songs
that have a story attached to them or could be made into a story. I usually
like two to three songs from many different artists. Right now my most
favourite songs are Blue October’s Home, Disturbed’s Sound of Silence, Barbra
Streisand and Bryan Adams’s I Finally Found Someone. I make a playlist for each
book and future book and I listen to them nonstop.
3) Do you have a critique partners or beta readers.
Yes I do have a critique partner. Diane Zparkki is also a
writer and we exchanged each others chapters. We give each other suggestions
and feedback, what we like about the chapter and what doesn’t work for us. I
love her and couldn’t write a book without her. She rocks my world!
4) What book are you reading now.
Last night I finished book four Rapturous (The Quantum
Series) by M.S. Force. I am a total sucker for Happily Ever After.
5) How did you start your writing career?
I have always wanted to write, but raising four sons and my
career working with special needs teenagers came first. When my kids grew up
and didn’t need me anymore I ended up with so much time on my hands. My critique
partner and I were out
for a drink and talking about the books we were reading. I confessed to
starting to write a book and found out she was doing the same. We started to
meet every Saturday and pushed each other through the process. Now I am on a
year sabbatical to write the rest of my series.
6) Tell us about your next release.
My next release is called Thicker Then Blood and it
will be released this spring. Dakota is in a life threatening car accident that
nearly kills her. She learns the man who recused her and kept her alive was her
ex-boyfriend Caden. Two years ago he broke her heart and betrayed her in the
worst way. She still loves Caden and hasn’t been able to move on. Someone has
lied to her but was it Caden? She finds herself in a no win situation.
