Interview
#1 – Do You See Writing as a Career?
I never saw writing books as a career choice. I
always knew I wanted to be a filmmaker. But once I entered the film world and
realized I hated standing on set for 12+ hours I decided to steer in a
different direction.
#2 – What was the Hardest Part of Your Writing Process?
Figuring out act 2 in the story. I didn’t
outline the first book when I first started writing, so once I got past a
certain point I didn’t know where to go or what would happen next. I got stuck
for a very long time.
#3 – Did you have any One Person Who Helped You Out with
Your Writing Outside of Your Family?
My friend George helped me a lot when he edited
the first draft of the book. He noticed a lack of wings, and angel description.
If it wasn’t for his input, the book would not be where it is now.
#4 – What is next for your writing?
Book #2 of The Tragic + Divine series!
#5 – Do you have an addiction to reading as well as writing?
If so, what are you currently reading?
Right now my addiction is self-help books. I
just finished reading Gabrielle Bernstein’s “Super Attractor.”
