What is the hardest part of writing your books?
Everything is hard about writing. Thinking up the story in the first place, finding exactly the right people to make the story come to life. Spending the hours it takes sitting at your computer to get your thoughts down in a way that will turn the idea into a book. Nothing is easy about it.
What songs are most played on your IPod?
I like Country Western music. That is what I listen to most.
Do you have critique partners or beta readers?
No. I learned to write using a critic group but that was many, many books ago.
What book are you reading now?
Just finished a Pamela Clare Cobra Elite novel. Great book.
My husband was writing a novel. He was bad at spelling and grammar. I was trying to help and as I was working on his book, Shadow of the Mast, I realized I wanted to try writing my own novel. Magnificent Passage, a Western romance, was my first book.

In the story, Reese fights his attraction to his executive assistant, McKenzie Haines, who is helping him with the purchase of an offshore drilling rig.
