What is the hardest part of writing
your books? Working out the plot. Since I write historical romance, I have to
make sure that actual events fit into the timeline of the story.
What songs are most played on your
Ipod? I listen to Big Band music from the 1940’s, like Glenn Miller or Tommy
Dorsey, to get me into the feel of the time.
Do you have critique partners or beta
readers? I don’t have a critique partner but I have used beta readers. They can
provide valuable insight about the story that I may not see.
What book are you reading now? I’m
reading the 9th Outlander book Go Tell the Bees That I’m Gone.
How did you start your writing career?
I started writing rather late in life when I decided to put down on paper the
stories floating around in my head. After that I took a writing course and
found a wonderful group of supportive writers from whom I learned so much about
writing and publishing.
Tell us about your next release. The story I’m working on right now is
a multigenerational story dealing with World War II and Vietnam.
