What is the hardest part of writing your books?
The writing is fun. I even enjoy the proofreading aspect as I develop and shape the characters and story line. The hardest part for me is the marketing. Navigating the social media outlets is time consuming, and it’s a challenge to produce content for social media. This is an added challenge with marketing. There are millions of books just waiting for readers, but getting my books in front of readers is a challenge.
What are your most played songs?
I don’t listen to music when I write. When I swim, I listen to a mix of the 80’s to now rock/pop. I typically listen to podcasts when I do housework or go shopping.
Do you have critique partners or beta readers?
I have some close friends that I rely on for their input. It’s been great learning from their suggestions.
How did you start your writing career?
When my daughters went to kindergarten, I decided to write a book. (They are now college students). I had no idea what my journey would look like. I started out slowly. It took 2 years to get my first YA paranormal romance published, but with experience, I was able to publish books more quickly. I now have 17 ebooks that are published, a handful of Vella novels on Amazon’s Vella Platform, and 2 podcasts. I’m excited to see where my journey takes me through-out the years.
Tell us about your next release.
I am excited about this and the next release – Whispers of the Past & Delicate Liaisons. They are books that were first published on Amazon’s Vella Platform as serial stories. Delicate Liaisons is an erotic romance that explores the intrigue and seductive lifestyle of high-end paramours. It’s a compilation of short stories. It is also available on My Secret Obsession: After Dark 18+
