The night of Christmas Eve changes everything for Rhema Clark, a 36-year-old housewife living on quiet Sugar Lane. One day she is hosting a birthday party for her 9-year-old son, Julian, the next she is watching her neighborhood become the backdrop for the perfect murder.
To gain power, Rhema inserts herself into the lives of the residents of Sugar Lane. She knows they have secrets, but none of them run deeper than her own. On the outside she is a kind and caring neighbor, but on the inside, something sinister lurks beneath. The media storm surrounding this murder could destroy her secret life and expose her for what she is.
But will her lust for power override her desire to keep her secrets?

What is the hardest part of writing your books?
Getting through the first draft. I want to constantly edit while I write but it slows me down so I have to force myself to push past typos and get the story down. It drives me nuts.

What songs are most played on your Ipod?
Bruno Mars- That’s What I Like
Blackstreet- No Diggity
Anything Prince

Do you have critique partners or beta readers?
I don’t have critique partners or beta readers. When I am constructing a story I don’t like a lot of differing opinions because it hinders me form writing and authentic story.

What book are you reading now?
A dystopian fiction story called Paradormancy by David Joseph Lavallee

How did you start your writing career?
I started my career after I graduated college. I knew that writing was missing in my life so I started back at it after a friend had given me a journal for my birthday. The rest is history.

Tell us about your next release.

I’m up in the air about what I want to release next. I definitely and adding more installments to the Sugar Lane series but I am also working on a gangster romance series entitled Lover 1509 so we’ll see which one gets finished first.
