Tales of Timothy Tip Truck is a series of short, fun stories that are based on real-life experiences by the author. They relate to the workings of trucks and earthmoving machinery as told to his two young boys at the time. The stories combine fun with learning some old-fashioned values including honesty, respect, caring for animals and those less fortunate, friendship, manners and the environment.

Hi,
My name is Mark Lawrence, am semi retired and I am married with 2 sons and a
grand daughter. I live in country NSW
Australia. I have written a series of
children's short stories revolving around trucks and earthmoving
machinery
with a central character being Timothy the Tip Truck.
Tell me more about your journey as an author, including the writing processes?
The
stories were written in the early 90's when I owned trucks and earthmoving
machinery. My 2 young boys at the time
were always asking what happened at work so I wrote a series of short stories
as a fun way to teach them life lessons.
Tell me about your Book (that you want to talk about)
The first book is called "Timothy gets stuck" and it is basically a tale about a truck that gets stuck in the mud but the lesson is doing as you are told so you won't get in any danger. Every story in the series has a lesson taught in a adventurous fun filled way to entertain the children.
Any message for our readers
The
books instill old fashioned values in a fun adventurous way. eg caring for the
environment, caring for animals, friendship and helping others not as
fortunate, manners and respect.
