Any message for our readers
Hello! Welcome to my third installment in the Haunted Historical Mystery Series The Caretaker.
In the heart of the Black Hills, where the icy winds howled like tormented spirits, journalist Rachael embarked on a journey shrouded in mystery and danger. Her destination: Hawthorne House, a remote inn nestled deep within the treacherous wilderness. Little did she know, the blizzard raging outside was merely a harbinger of the chilling revelations awaiting her within those ancient walls.
Story (that you want to highlight)
It’s a dual timeline – present day and during the California Gold Rush. Highlights the Chinese that came over to work in the mines and their treatment. Rachael – the lead character is interviewing several haunted hotels in SD and Hawthorne House is her last. There is a caretaker there who welcomes her and tells her the history of the house beginning in the late 1800s.
